Note: Wellington Masters Athletics maintain extensive record tables, contrasting Championship Records, NZ Records and World Records. You can peruse those here: Record Tables by Event

Due to age factors and implement specification changes (since May 2010), all Pentathlon/Decathlon/Heptathlon event records have been reviewed / updated. An appendix of individual event performances will now be included, so point totals can be re-worked if age factors change in the future. Please check these records to ensure they are correct.

We have added known wind readings for relevant events; unfortunately this information was in previous years not always included in the released results and older record documents may no longer be available, particularly for those that pre-date the “electronic document age.”

We have also added the athlete’s centre at the time of their record performance. For older records we had to identify this information using archived results in old editions of Vetline, though such information was not always included with results and many athletes have moved around the country during their career. We also reviewed Centre Records, though not all Centres maintain records and there are instances where an athlete has been claimed by more than one Centre for the same performance! If you identify an incorrect assignment please let Michael know (details below).
